Galaxy Digital has added $100 million of sUSDS, Sky Protocol's yield-bearing savings token, to its corporate treasury and approved it as collateral across its institutional trading business. The position was funded with Galaxy's own balance sheet, while the firm also acquired an undisclosed amount of SKY, Sky Protocol's governance token. Galaxy serves more than 1,600 counterparties, and its lending operation has an average loan book of roughly $1.4 billion. Clients posting sUSDS against loans can continue earning the Sky Savings Rate on the full collateral amount during the loan. The move builds on a $500 million warehouse lending facility provided to Galaxy by Grove, a Prime Agent within the Sky ecosystem. sUSDS supply reached $5.52 billion at the end of Q2, up 149% from a year earlier, while Sky reported five consecutive profitable quarters, including $107.35 million in gross revenue and a $33.29 million net surplus in Q2 2026. SKY rose to $0.0757 after the announcement before easing toward $0.0745, and remained 7.5% higher over 24 hours and 16.9% higher over seven days. The arrangement positions sUSDS as treasury capital, loan collateral and part of an institutional financing structure, testing whether Sky's savings product can scale with public-company treasuries.
