Strategy is asking shareholders to approve daily dividend accruals for its four preferred securities: STRC, STRD, STRF and STRK. Dividends would accrue on every calendar day, including weekends and U.S. market holidays, and be paid on the next business day. The change would increase STRC’s annual record dates from 24 to 365, or 366 in leap years, while the other three securities would move from four quarterly dates to daily accruals. Strategy says the structure could improve liquidity, reduce price volatility and support demand without changing regular dividend rates or overall regular dividend obligations. If approved, STRC would begin accruing dividends on November 1, 2026, with the first payment on November 2; STRF, STRK and STRD would transition on January 1, 2027, after completing their fourth-quarter 2026 cycles. STRC recently traded at $98.54, while MSTR traded at $158.61, and Strategy held around 846,000 BTC.
