Quant’s QNT token rose 75% in 24 hours to about $180 after The Clearing House selected the project to provide technology for its On-Chain Money Initiative. Quant will supply interoperability, orchestration and transaction-management layers for a planned network that would let financial institutions clear and settle tokenized deposits while connecting to The Clearing House’s RTP and CHIPS payment systems. The network is expected to launch for participating institutions in the first half of 2027 and involves 25 large U.S. banks. The Clearing House says its payment networks handle more than $2 trillion in daily clearing and settlement. On-chain activity began rising on Sept. 16, eight days before the partnership was announced publicly, with active addresses exceeding 870 daily through Sept. 23 and new addresses running at about 1.8 times their earlier September weekday average. Active addresses reached 2,064 on Sept. 24, the highest level in nearly a year, while QNT gained 27% that day. The token briefly topped $190 and was up 185% over the week. Crypto Patel and EGRAG CRYPTO cautioned investors against chasing the rally, pointing instead to the possibility of consolidation and retracement.
