The Clearing House selected Quant to provide the interoperability, orchestration and transaction-management layer for its On-Chain Money Initiative, a planned network for clearing and settling tokenized deposits while connecting to payment rails including RTP and CHIPS. The network is expected to become available to participating institutions in the first half of 2027. QNT surged 54.89% to $187.02 on September 27, 2026, on reported volume of $710 million, though an on-chain analysis estimated that 77.4% of that volume was wash trading and raised concerns that the move was artificially inflated. Earlier reports cited a roughly 178% seven-day gain, a peak near $194, and differing intraday prices. Quant’s technology work also includes a UK tokenized-sterling-deposit project involving Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, NatWest, Nationwide and Santander. The Clearing House’s existing networks handle more than $2 trillion daily, but that does not represent transaction volume Quant will process or establish direct demand for QNT.
