Hyperliquid will double capacity for HIP-4 deployers and reduce its perpetual contract funding-rate cap from 4% per hour to 0.5% per hour in the next network upgrade, co-founder Jeff Yan said. The upgrade will raise the number of active results a single deployer can maintain from 100 to 200 and increase the daily deployment cap from 500 to 1,000. The changes follow builder feedback. Officials said the lower funding-rate ceiling tightens the theoretical limit, although the previous cap was rarely reached during actual trading. Funding rates are periodic payments between traders in perpetual futures markets.
