Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor posted a Bitcoin holdings chart on Sunday captioned “Even more orange,” renewing expectations that the company could disclose another purchase in its next filing with U.S. regulators. Strategy holds 846,000 BTC after its latest confirmed acquisition of 950 BTC for about $76 million, or $79,670 per coin, according to its ledger. The company is the largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, but such posts have not consistently preceded purchases: its filing the prior week showed no Bitcoin bought or sold. Strategy has also sold 6,916 BTC across four transactions between June 30 and Aug. 10 and recently spent $174 million repurchasing STRC preferred shares. Bitcoin traded near $84,974, about 13% above Strategy’s average acquisition cost of roughly $75,416 per coin.
