Quant (QNT) has risen about 260% to 300% in seven days, briefly reaching approximately $370 before retreating to around $205, according to CoinGecko. The rally followed The Clearing House (TCH) selecting Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative and provide technology for banks’ tokenized deposits. TCH is backed by 25 major banks, including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup, and processes more than $2 trillion in daily interbank clearing. Additional reported catalysts included Quant’s integration into Murex MX.3, software used by 65 of the world’s 100 largest banks, and the European Central Bank choosing the project to help test the digital euro. Trader Doctor Profit said he exited his entire QNT position, citing high funding rates, crowded long trades and concerns that some larger accounts were privately selling while publicly encouraging further buying. QNT’s Relative Strength Index approached 100 before easing to about 74, remaining in overbought territory. Other market participants expect a pullback toward $100-$150 before a possible rally above $500, while UMER (THE BULL) argued that the advance was driven by hype rather than solid fundamentals.
