The zone includes computing infrastructure, digital trade and commercial aerospace, and recorded 14 percent year-on-year trade growth with SCO countries in 2025. Its infrastructure now includes a heterogeneous computing resource pool with 150,000 accelerator cards and more than 700 ecosystem partners. New work covers data classification, cross-border data flows and digital talent. A commercial satellite data industry alliance in Tianjin is developing services for crop monitoring, disaster warning and environmental protection. Tianjin University and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine have launched Qihuang Medical Hall, using AI and digital technologies to promote traditional Chinese medicine internationally. The platform is also backed by a 28-institution SCO digital economy think-tank alliance. Six new cooperation projects were signed in AI infrastructure, smart logistics, geospatial intelligence and digital healthcare. Tianjin also unveiled Hehe, an AI dialogue agent supporting more than 100 languages, as it invited SCO partners to deepen digital economy cooperation.
