Arcadis announced an expanded collaboration with Autodesk on Sept. 28, 2026, to accelerate artificial intelligence, connected data and digital workflows across the built and natural environment while keeping human expertise and judgment central to client delivery. The collaboration combines Arcadis’ design, engineering, sustainability and project-delivery expertise with Autodesk’s Design and Make platform and Autodesk AI, including Autodesk Assistant, which understands geometry, engineering intent and project history. It supports Arcadis’ AI and Data & Knowledge strategy by bringing its knowledge, standards and client experience into project decision-making workflows. A joint See Through Walls initiative uses AI, sensor data and predictive modeling to infer hidden building conditions, supporting material reuse, circularity and decarbonization. Arcadis is connecting its Model Context Protocol capabilities with Autodesk Assistant while retaining ownership of what it builds. Existing initiatives in North America and Europe have produced measurable efficiencies, including reducing one quality-review process from five days to approximately half a day. Arcadis said the partnership is intended to improve decision-making, quality, resilience and productivity while reducing delivery risk. The company has around 34,000 employees, operates in more than 30 countries and reported €4.9 billion in gross revenues for 2025.
