DB Securities plans to expand beyond domestic real-asset tokenization into security tokens and real-world assets, using the Ethereum ecosystem to build links with global capital markets. Speaking at the institutional session of the annual Ethereum Korea One: Genesis conference in Seoul on Sept. 28, DB Securities CEO Kwak Bong-seok said digital assets, with Ethereum at the center, are becoming a key pillar of global financial infrastructure. He also said South Korean traditional financial institutions should participate centrally in that transition.
