Bando Engineering & Construction will presell Gyeyang New Town Caiiv Yuboraa, the first purely private-sector apartment complex in South Korea’s third-phase new towns. The mixed-use development will comprise 1,110 units in 16 buildings across the AC3 and AC4 blocks in Incheon. AC3, closer to Bakchon Station, will include a community care center for elementary school children and the only 92-square-meter units, while AC4 will connect to a linear park. Transport links include Incheon Line 1, the Airport Railroad, Seoul subway Lines 5 and 9 and the Seohae Line, although reaching Yeouido or Gwanghwamun requires at least two transfers. A Daejang-Hongdae Line connection is also under way. Local demand has so far been stronger among nearby residents, while the final presale price is expected to be decisive. Market talk puts the price at about 22 million won per 3.3 square meters, implying a mid-700 million won range for an 84-square-meter unit, but the official figure has not been set.
