Donald Trump Jr.-backed Unusual Machines and an undisclosed U.S. private investment fund have agreed to invest a combined $10 million in Canadian drone company Draganfly through a registered direct offering. Each investor is contributing $5 million to acquire Draganfly shares at $5.35, matching Friday's closing price and resulting in the issuance of about 1.87 million common shares. The transaction is expected to close on or before Sept. 29, 2026, subject to customary conditions and regulatory clearance. Draganfly plans to use the proceeds to accelerate strategic initiatives and support general corporate operations amid rising demand. Its shares rose about 5% in Monday premarket trading but remain down roughly 23% this year. Four analysts tracked by TipRanks rate the stock Strong Buy, with an average $10 target price and a highest target of $14. Draganfly previously raised $50 million in February 2025 and is expanding its commercial and defense business, including work with the Canadian Armed Forces and U.S. defense customers.
