Soluna, Bitdeer expand Texas co-mining project to 35 MW

  • Soluna and Dory Creek expanded Project Kati 1’s Bitcoin-mining capacity by 7 MW.
  • The revised agreement raises total project power allocation to 35 MW and fills the K1BC phase.
  • Additional capacity is expected to be deployed by November 2026 under a revenue-sharing model.

Soluna Holdings and Dory Creek, a subsidiary of Bitdeer Technologies Group, have revised their Project Kati 1 agreement in South Texas to add 7 MW of Bitcoin-mining capacity. The expansion brings the companies’ total power allocation at the project to 35 MW and fills the K1BC phase. Bitdeer will provide and own SEALMINER A2 Pro Air machines, while Soluna will supply the data-center infrastructure and power and manage operations. The partners will split mining revenue rather than use a conventional hosting-fee structure. The additional 7 MW is expected to be deployed by November 2026. The revision expands an earlier 28 MW arrangement, which was expected to add about 1.93 EH/s to Bitdeer’s proprietary mining hash rate. Project Kati 1 is part of Soluna’s renewable-energy data-center portfolio in Texas, and the companies have also explored high-performance computing applications, including potential AI workloads.
