Strategy bought 1,665 Bitcoin for $142.7 million during the week ended Sept. 27, following a 950-BTC purchase the prior week and ending its first stretch of consecutive weekly acquisitions since June. The purchases lifted its holdings to a record 847,666 BTC, reversing a quarterly net decline caused by earlier sales. Strategy financed the latest purchase through MSTR common-stock sales while also repurchasing STRC preferred shares and maintaining substantial cash and equity-issuance capacity. Strive bought 1,107 BTC for $94.5 million at an average price of $85,396, raising its holdings to 27,462 BTC and retaining its position as the fifth-largest public Bitcoin treasury company. The acquisitions come as corporate treasury firms face pressure on valuations, financing and capital-allocation strategies.
