Cerebras Systems plans to supply cloud computing startup Gimlet Labs with AI chips and hardware representing about 100 megawatts of computing capacity. Gimlet intends to use Cerebras’ CS-4 systems to run compute-intensive frontier AI models for enterprises and startups building AI products. Deliveries are planned over the next one to two years, and Gimlet expects to bring the hardware to its cloud platform in 2027. The companies have not disclosed financial terms. The planned supply agreement adds to their existing collaboration on a disaggregated inference cloud that combines Cerebras’ wafer-scale computing with GPUs and Gimlet Cloud, targeting speeds of up to 3,000 tokens per second.
