DTCC has formed a strategic partnership with iCapital and invested in the alternative-investment platform. The companies will combine DTCC’s market infrastructure with iCapital’s platform to improve efficiency in private-market transaction processing, data exchange, management and reporting. They also plan to explore distributed ledger technology (DLT), a shared digital record system, and tokenization applications. iCapital’s platform currently serves approximately $1.2 trillion in assets.
