Breez has added stablecoin receiving to its software development kit, allowing apps built with the toolkit to accept USDT and USDC from more than 30 networks, including Ethereum, Base, Solana and Tron. The feature is designed to simplify cross-chain payments by letting the receiver select the sender’s network and amount while Breez generates a deposit address and displays the expected proceeds. Flashnet converts the payment in the background, with funds arriving in the receiver’s non-custodial wallet as bitcoin or, for users of the stable balance feature, as dollars. Breez’s SDK already supports wallet creation, transfers and Lightning Network payments, enabling developers to add bitcoin payment capabilities without building infrastructure, operating nodes or managing liquidity. The company introduced stablecoin sending in June, allowing balances powered by Breez to transfer stablecoins across nearly any network in both directions. The update follows Passkey Login, instant Cash App onboarding and Stable Balance as part of Breez’s effort to make bitcoin applications resemble conventional fintech products. Its Glow reference app debuted in August, while Breez announced a July partnership with Turnkey to help developers add non-custodial Bitcoin to applications whose wallets run on their own servers.
