Zano plans to finance recovery from an emergency rollback using its developer fund, team members’ personal funds and committed contributors. The rollback removed roughly a month of previously confirmed transactions, after the chain restarted at block 3,833,000 because a Gateway Address vulnerability enabled unauthorized ZANO and Freedom Dollar (fUSD) issuance. Zano said its supply and emission will remain unchanged, while the network is stable and affected activity is being verified with partners. No funding amount, payment timetable, eligibility rules or claims process has been published, and the funding plan is not a guarantee that every loss will be covered. The team has advised users to update wallets, verify payment status on the recovered chain and preserve transaction and trading records while exchanges, wallets and payment services migrate independently.
