Bitcoin mining company Riot Platforms fully repaid and terminated its $200 million Bitcoin-backed credit facility from Coinbase Credit. The repayment covered all principal and accrued interest and incurred no early termination fee. The facility carried a 6.15% interest rate after an amendment in April. As of June 30, Riot had pledged 5,821 BTC as collateral from its 11,380 BTC holdings, which were valued at about $340.7 million at the time. The repayment released that Bitcoin collateral, along with USDC and cash previously held as collateral by Coinbase Custody Trust Company. Separately, Riot agreed in August to supply 191 megawatts from its Rockdale, Texas, facility to Anthropic under a roughly $9 billion, 20-year contract.
