Conagra Brands is scheduled to release fiscal first-quarter 2027 results before the market opens on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Revenue is expected at about $2.59 billion, down from $2.63 billion a year earlier and roughly 2% year over year, while earnings estimates range from 28 cents to 31 cents per share, versus 39 cents a year ago, depending on the source. Shares recently traded near $14, including a Monday close of $14.16 after falling 1.1%, and were down approximately 14% year to date. The company faces higher raw-material, packaging and logistics costs, inflation-related expenses of 5% to 6% for the full fiscal year and a $40 million tariff impact in the first quarter. Full-year operating margin is projected at 10% to 10.5%, below its historical average near 16%, while pricing changes are not expected to reach store shelves until mid-second quarter. Conagra reduced its quarterly dividend to $0.175 per share and plans to redirect about $1 billion over three years toward manufacturing and supply-chain investments. The dividend currently implies a 4.94% annual yield; at a $0.70 annual payout, approximately 8,571 shares costing about $121,365 would be needed to generate $500 in monthly income.
