A second suspected memecoin rug factory has emerged on Robinhood Chain, with blockchain security firm GoPlus identifying an operation behind hundreds of tokens that routed more than $9 million through a common fund-consolidation network over 30 days. Its main consolidation wallet recorded about 3,589 ETH, worth roughly $9.49 million, in two-way flows across its latest 400 transactions as of Sept. 28. The figure describes gross wallet flows rather than confirmed net profits or investor losses, although CryptoSlate reporting on Sept. 29, 2026, characterized the amount as losses. The operation used batches of newly created wallets to accumulate and sell tokens before sweeping proceeds into related addresses. The findings follow blockchain researcher Wazz's identification of a separate suspected operation that allegedly extracted about $18.43 million from at least 53 launches over roughly two months. Both clusters used Pons V2 infrastructure, large wallet groups and recycled capital, but GoPlus found no evidence they shared operators. Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer-2, surpassed $1.5 billion in total value locked less than 90 days after launching July 1. Its rapid growth, recognizable Robinhood brand and limited monitoring can expose retail traders to token-level risks. The broader market was in Greed territory, with a Fear and Greed reading of 68 on Sept. 29.
