Soneium, the Ethereum layer-2 network developed by Sony Group and Startale Group, has partnered with DayOneDream to develop tokenized K-pop content assets and related revenue streams through WAVIST. DayOneDream manages artists including BTOB, LEE CHAE YEON, MEMI and 2F, alongside music production, live events and IP commerce. WAVIST completed a tokenized K-pop IP bond in May, including issuance, redemption and token burning. The companies say eligible users may gain access to future entertainment-linked assets, while rights holders may obtain another financing and revenue channel. The partnership was announced at the Tokenizing K-Pop: WAVIST Night event in Seoul during Korea Blockchain Week 2026, although the partners have not disclosed a first asset or the terms of future products.
