Veteran trader Peter Brandt has identified Stellar’s XLM as a speculative long-shot opportunity over the next few years, basing the view on chart signals rather than a firm price forecast. XLM traded near $0.2309, up roughly 11% in 24 hours and 28% over the past month, extending its recovery from earlier lows. An earlier market snapshot put the token near $0.2233, up 6.9% over 24 hours, after a range of $0.2071 to $0.2343. Brandt, who shared the view with 1.3 million followers on X, said price is the only factor he needs to assess an asset. The renewed interest also follows Stellar’s growing institutional use: Mastercard-owned BVNK integrated the network into its stablecoin payments platform on Sept. 22, providing enterprise clients with single-API access across more than 130 markets. Spectra Finance later launched fixed-term markets on Stellar for a tokenized Janus Henderson treasury product, allowing principal and yield tokens to trade separately. Other chartists, including Dark Defender, have also maintained a constructive technical view. Stellar’s network has increasingly emphasized payments and real-world-asset tokenization, although Brandt’s characterization remains speculative and dependent on adoption and broader market conditions.
