Curve DAO's CRV token rose more than 10% to $0.3865 on Sept. 29 as futures trading and network activity increased, even as the broader crypto market capitalization fell to about $2.86 trillion. CoinGecko data showed CRV climbing from an intraday low near $0.3470 to almost $0.42 before retreating, lifting its market capitalization to approximately $604.44 million and 24-hour spot volume to about $214.76 million. CoinGlass data showed futures volume rising 163% to roughly $523.19 million, open interest increasing 5.22% to $150.04 million and the funding rate at 0.0081%, indicating a positive bias among perpetual-futures traders. DeFiLlama data showed 5,053 active addresses and 35,091 transactions, up more than 53%. CRV remained above its 20-day, 50-day and 200-day moving averages at $0.3646, $0.35435 and $0.33608, respectively. The rally follows earlier reports of higher Curve fees and on-chain activity, but the protocol recorded a $3.09 million Q3 2025 loss after $7.04 million in incentive payments exceeded gross profit. Earlier coverage also found AAVE, CRV and ETHFI gaining between 14% and 22%, while Aave considered a token burn and ether.fi said card and banking revenue had replaced lost restaking income.
