Micron Technology shares rose 1.38% to $1,068.50 in Tuesday premarket trading as investors positioned ahead of the company’s fiscal fourth-quarter report on Sept. 30. Analysts expect tight memory supply, stronger pricing and AI-driven demand to support earnings, margins and forward guidance. Wall Street forecasts earnings of $31.45 per share, up from $3.03 a year earlier, and revenue of $50.75 billion versus $11.31 billion in the prior-year period. JPMorgan, Bank of America Securities and BMO each see further upside, citing higher DRAM and NAND pricing, sustained data-center demand and a memory supply deficit. HBM (high-bandwidth memory) is a key growth area, while NAND refers to flash memory used in storage products. The stock has an average analyst price forecast of $1,541.09 and also carries substantial weight in several semiconductor ETFs, increasing the potential for fund flows to generate automatic buying or selling pressure.
