Jaguar Uranium Corp. has received approval for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) covering the La Rosada prospect from the Ministry of Environment of the Province of Chubut. The permit authorizes exploration across six properties totaling 59,895.3 hectares, about 25% of the approximately 230,000-hectare Laguna Salada uranium-vanadium project and its largest component. La Rosada is 45 kilometers northeast of the Guanaco prospect, which received EIA approval on March 2, 2026. Jaguar says it is authorized to begin prospecting after the winter season, including geochemical sampling, geological mapping, radiometric surveys and electrical resistivity tomography to assess deep fluvial paleochannels. Chief Executive Officer Steven Gold called the approval an important milestone and said it advances the company’s exploration strategy. The company cautioned that statements concerning exploration, funding, timing and future uranium opportunities are forward-looking and subject to risks including personnel, equipment, permits, property access, budgets, commodity prices and foreign exchange rates.
