Wallets holding between 10 and 10,000 BTC added more than 41,000 coins over 10 days, lifting their combined balance to a six-week high even as Bitcoin fell to about $83,122 on September 30, 2026. The increase, worth roughly $3.4 billion at that price, indicates net buying through the decline but does not identify the buyers or establish their intent. The cohort includes individuals, trading desks, corporate treasuries, exchange-linked wallets and custodians. Bitcoin was down 1.1% on the day and about 3.5% over the prior week, while the Crypto Fear and Greed Index stood at 67, or Greed. Ether, BNB, XRP and Solana also declined in the same market snapshot. The latest data differs from an earlier report focused on wallets holding 1,000 to 10,000 BTC, which recorded 41,025 BTC added over 10 days, more than 55,000 BTC accumulated over a separate recent period, and holdings of 13.64 million BTC, or 67.93% of total supply. Those figures should not be treated as identical because the cohort definitions and measurement periods differ. Santiment’s latest reading is a single 10-day positioning snapshot, not evidence of a continuing trend or a forecast.
