Bitcoin rose 2.67% over 24 hours to $82,989.25 as improving institutional demand and strong spot Bitcoin ETF flows supported the market despite elevated U.S. Treasury yields. Spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted more than $3 billion in net inflows from Sept. 17 through Sept. 29, marking nine consecutive positive U.S. trading sessions. The week ended Sept. 25 produced $2.4 billion in inflows, the strongest weekly result since last October, while BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust drew more than $1 billion. Bitcoin has gained 43.1% in the third quarter, putting it on track for its best quarterly performance since the fourth quarter of 2024 and its strongest third quarter in nearly a decade. Binance Co-CEO Richard Teng said demand was improving despite 10-year Treasury yields reaching 5.29%, their highest level since 2007, and 30-year yields rising above 5.6%, the highest since June 2002. Bitcoin's rebound from below $83,000 has pushed it toward resistance near $84,000-$85,000, where long-term holder supply is concentrated; a sustained break above that zone could refocus attention on $90,000.
