Cyngn (NASDAQ: CYN) has received a follow-on order for its DriveMod Tugger from an unnamed Fortune 100 heavy equipment manufacturer. The deployment adds a material-handling workflow at the customer’s heavy equipment manufacturing facility, moving components to a heavy-equipment assembly line and expanding an existing relationship. Cyngn says the order demonstrates how an initial autonomous vehicle deployment can support broader adoption across workflows and facilities. The DriveMod Tugger is designed for repetitive industrial transport, can tow up to 12,000 pounds, and uses autonomous navigation (self-directed vehicle movement) without requiring fixed guidance infrastructure such as magnetic tape or guide wires. The manufacturer’s identity is being withheld for competitive reasons, including potentially sensitive information about its operational efficiency and automation strategy. Cyngn’s EasyLaunch program helps companies assess a route, automate a defined workflow, measure its value, and expand when economically justified.
