KALA Bio shares rose 57.10% to $0.79 in after-hours trading Tuesday after the clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company announced a non-binding letter of intent to acquire 100% of a privately held management services organization supporting a telehealth platform. The LegitScript-certified and NABP-accredited platform serves clients in all 50 states, generated approximately $12.7 million in unaudited revenue during the trailing 12 months ended August 2026, and has generated more than $48 million in sales since inception. The proposed acquisition is valued at approximately $15 million, payable in cash and KALA stock, with closing targeted for late 2026 or early 2027 after due diligence.
