PowerBank Corporation reported fiscal-year revenue of $27.4 million for the year ended June 30, 2026, down from $41.5 million in FY2025, as the company shifted from selling projects toward owning them. Gross profit declined to $9.5 million, but gross margin expanded to 34.7% from 25.3%. The net loss narrowed to $24.3 million, or $0.58 per basic share, from $31.1 million, or $0.97 per share, while cash used in operating activities improved to $12.8 million from $17.3 million. Independent power producer production revenue rose to $9.8 million from $9.3 million, and working capital improved to $1.6 million from a $1.8 million deficit. PowerBank said five projects entered commercial operation during the year and expects revenue to return to growth in Fiscal 2027. The company also announced new battery energy storage projects in New York, completed milestones for solar and storage projects, secured interconnection agreements in Nova Scotia, received a $2.95 million U.S. Department of Defense and Department of the Army contract, and signed a joint development agreement with Nodiac Corp. Adjusted EBITDA, a non-IFRS measure, was negative $3.5 million, compared with negative $0.8 million a year earlier. The company cautioned that its strategy depends on third-party financing, project-pipeline growth and continuing government support for solar and battery-storage projects.
