Anchorage Digital will serve as Puffer UniFi's day-one institutional custodian under a partnership with Puffer Finance, bringing institutional custody, stablecoin infrastructure and payment settlement capabilities to the Ethereum-aligned execution and settlement network. The companies will support stablecoin issuance and native settlement, with Anchorage providing custody and payment infrastructure and Puffer UniFi supplying high-throughput execution, real-time settlement and access to Ethereum liquidity. Anchorage's AI agent payment infrastructure for financial institutions and registered merchants will also use Puffer UniFi for stablecoin settlement, allowing software agents to initiate payments and complete onchain settlement within an institutional framework. The announcement follows Puffer's partnership with Google Cloud, which joined Puffer Preconf as a registered gateway one week earlier, with Puffer UniFi as its first rollup.
