Zcash’s market capitalization increased sharply relative to Bitcoin over the past year, rising from about 0.1% of Bitcoin’s market value to 1.5%, according to Cointelegraph. Grayscale said the shift reflects continued interest in privacy within the digital-asset market and projected that sustained demand could support additional growth for Zcash.
