Bryson DeChambeau remains undecided about continuing with LIV Golf in 2027 and beyond as the league seeks to restructure under a proposed LIV 2.0 model. Golf insider Alan Shipnuck said DeChambeau has been changing his view, while Dustin Johnson, Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith also face decisions that could affect the restructuring. LIV Golf filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in New Jersey earlier in September, and the Saudi Public Investment Fund plans to end all funding after the 2026 season. Under an agreement with BC Partners Advisors, at least 50% of players with financial claims must agree to participate in LIV 2.0 within 35 days of the Oct. 13 bankruptcy filing, and those players must represent at least two-thirds of the total dollar value of player claims. Rahm has $7.5 million in claims and Smith has $4.8 million; Smith said players need more answers and are currently in limbo. DeChambeau, 33, has won five times on the LIV circuit, led Crushers GC to the 2023 team championship and left the PGA Tour for LIV in 2022.
