Michael Saylor said Bitcoin buyers have until 2035 before 99% of the asset's fixed 21 million supply has been mined, describing the period as a "gold rush." About 95.7% of the supply is already circulating, and the 99% threshold, equal to 20.79 million coins, is projected around February 2035 after the 2028 and 2032 halvings. Saylor also said the crypto economy could grow from roughly $3 trillion to $120 trillion by capturing 10% of the world's estimated $1 quadrillion to $1.2 quadrillion in wealth, a 20-fold to 30-fold expansion from current levels. He contrasted Bitcoin's historical annual return of about 41% over six years with gold's roughly 13%, and said Bitcoin could eventually grow 3% to 5% faster than the S&P 500. Strategy holds 847,666 BTC, more than 4% of the eventual supply, and Saylor said the company has no accumulation target and buys as it raises capital. Bitcoin traded at $84,389 when the report was written.
