Chainlink reached a new 2026 high after LINK surged 12% on Tuesday and briefly moved above $15. The rally has lifted the token nearly 35% over the past month, although LINK later retreated to around $14.67, nearly 4% below recent highs. Santiment data shows the number of non-empty wallets slipping to 912,020, suggesting some smaller holders are selling into strength. Even so, Chainlink’s holder count remains close to the highest levels recorded this year. The wallet decline does not necessarily indicate a bearish shift, as some traders may be realizing gains after the market recovery while other investors continue accumulating. The data therefore points to profit-taking and accumulation occurring at the same time, leaving LINK well above its level a month ago. Chainlink is also drawing attention to developments across its ecosystem.
