LayerZero expanded its regulated stablecoin infrastructure through institutional arrangements with Anchorage Digital and South Korean custodian BDACS. Anchorage Digital reportedly selected LayerZero as an interoperability collaborator for Tether’s USAT, which uses LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token standard to operate natively across supported blockchains rather than through wrapped versions. BDACS separately selected the technology for KRW1, a Korean won-backed stablecoin, extending LayerZero’s role across dollar- and won-denominated assets. ZRO rose 16.46% over 24 hours to about $1.85, while spot trading volume increased 22.24% and taker-buying dominated the Spot Taker CVD indicator. Its market capitalization reached nearly $677.98 million, compared with roughly $1.28 billion in unlocked market capitalization. Open interest climbed 13.73% to about $187 million even as derivatives volume fell 14.51% to $203.41 million. ZRO cleared the $1.526 resistance after recovering from September lows near $0.973 and approached $2, while an RSI of 78.05 indicated overbought conditions and increased the risk of a pullback toward $1.526. An earlier report cited a 21.05% 24-hour gain and a high of $1.88 before settlement at $1.85, differing from the later 16.46% figure.
