Hana Securities and startup accelerator Bluepoint Partners have signed a memorandum of understanding at Hana Securities’ headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, to cooperate on identifying innovative companies, investing in them and supporting their eventual IPOs. The framework covers new and follow-on investment, financing across growth stages, pre-IPO funding, secondary share transactions, IPO underwriting and financial support after listing. It is intended to connect Hana Securities’ investment banking capabilities with companies identified and nurtured by Bluepoint. Founded in 2014, Bluepoint has invested in more than 400 startups, including deep-tech ventures, while Hana Securities said the partnership will expand venture capital and financial solutions for high-growth companies.
