Telegram has renamed its built-in crypto wallet from Wallet to Walt while retaining trading, investment, yield products, multi-chain asset management and cross-chain transfers. The platform plans to add a crypto card and AI-driven trading capabilities. Existing users do not need to migrate their funds, accounts or settings. Telegram also launched Gram Wallet for its 1 billion users, targeting everyday transactions and Gram token transfers. Gram Wallet is designed for basic buying and sending, complementing Walt’s more advanced trading and investing features.
