DL E&C’s selection as preferred bidder for District 2 has completed the contractor lineup for all four districts in Seoul’s Seongsu Strategic Renewal Zone. The construction cost proposed by the redevelopment association is 2.0137 trillion won ($1.4 billion). DL E&C also signed a memorandum of understanding with 10 domestic financial institutions to provide tailored financing information and services to association members. The project covers a 131,980-square-meter site in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu and includes apartment buildings of up to 65 above-ground stories with six basement levels, as well as mixed-use buildings reaching 44 stories with five basement levels.
