Circle rolled out Onramp Kit, Earn Kit and Borrow Kit for applications on its Arc blockchain, allowing developers to embed stablecoin purchases, lending and Bitcoin-backed borrowing without separately integrating payment and lending protocols. Earn Kit and Borrow Kit connect to Morpho at launch, while Circle Technology Services provides the software rather than lending funds itself. Borrow Kit extends a model introduced for eligible institutional Circle Mint customers on September 21, under which users post cirBTC, Circle's wrapped Bitcoin token, as collateral to borrow USDC through Morpho. Arc's cirBTC market had $14.3 million in USDC borrowings that day, The Defiant reported. The kits are part of Arc App Kits, which also supports payments, swaps, cross-chain deposits and gas sponsorship.
