Temasek plans to establish offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in the first half of 2027, subject to approvals, to pursue investment and partnership opportunities across the Middle East. The offices will expand Temasek's global network to 15 offices in 11 countries in 2027. The Singapore state investor reported a net portfolio value of S$518 billion ($405.5 billion) as of March 31, 2026. Temasek said it would deepen engagement in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, while using the expanded presence to access opportunities in Central Asia and Africa. The move follows Seviora's 2025 Abu Dhabi expansion and partnership with Mubadala Capital. Chia Song Hwee became chairman for the Middle East and Africa on Sept. 1, while Ankit Khemka remains managing director for the region.
