Nidec Corporation said it will record an impairment loss of ¥632.135 billion, about $4.0 billion, on non-financial assets for the fiscal year ending March 2026. The charge follows the Japanese motor maker's delayed release of consolidated results and contributed to a reported net loss of ¥564.6 billion, or $3.6 billion, for the period.
