Ethereum traded near $2,680 during Wednesday trading after failing to sustain gains in the $2,750-$2,800 area during September. ETH was lower over both 24 hours and seven days, while CoinGlass recorded $33.63 billion in Ethereum futures open interest and roughly $46.14 billion in 24-hour futures volume. The token remains above $2,500, a level that acted as resistance earlier in the month, but buyers have not recovered the latest swing highs. Broader risk appetite has been pressured by high Treasury yields, U.S.-Iran tensions and uncertainty ahead of U.S. inflation and employment data. Earlier market readings also identified $2,710-$2,720 as a resistance range and $2,650 as key support, while spot Ethereum ETF flows weakened and regulatory scrutiny of in-kind redemptions added tax uncertainty.
