Ittikar opens family-office network after closing two acquisitions

  • Ittikar opened its private capital network to family offices beyond its founding group.
  • Mondevo Group used Ittikar to complete the Caruso and Underscore District acquisitions.
  • Ittikar's second release began in September with capabilities scheduled through June 2027.

Ittikar, Mondevo Group's private capital network for global family offices, is opening to new members after its platform supported the acquisitions of Italian menswear house Caruso in February and Milan-based brand accelerator Underscore District in August. The platform went live in March 2026, four months after Mondevo announced the project, and was initially used by 100 Founding Members. Built by a family office with a 25-year investment track record and relationships across 500 family offices, Ittikar provides AI-assisted deal analysis, investment and capital-raising tools. Its due diligence engine processes data rooms and drafts investment committee memorandums, while the platform's investment team reviews deals before publication. Mondevo Tech develops the system in-house with more than 50 engineers and 120 AI coding agents. Members retain data in sovereign Data Pods under their own encryption, with development aligned with GDPR (EU data protection law), NIS 2 (EU cybersecurity rules) and the EU AI Act. A second release began development in September and is scheduled to add portfolio tools, negotiation capabilities and, by mid-2027, tokenised assets and distributed-ledger settlement through licensed partners. A tokenisation proof of concept is planned before the end of 2026.
