Michael Saylor said Strategy and Strive can compete for investor capital while jointly expanding the market for Bitcoin-backed preferred securities. He described Bitcoin as "Digital Capital," preferred securities such as Strategy's STRC and Strive's SATA as "Digital Credit," and MSTR and ASST as "Digital Equity"—labels that form his own framework rather than formal regulatory asset classes. Saylor cited SIFMA figures showing global equity capitalization of $157.8 trillion and fixed-income debt outstanding of $160.7 trillion, arguing that Bitcoin treasury companies compete with much larger traditional markets as well as with one another. A 0.1% allocation from either market would represent roughly $160 billion. Strive held 505,000 STRC shares worth approximately $49.76 million as of Sept. 25, while also holding 27,462 BTC. Strategy held 847,666 BTC after buying 1,665 coins during the week ended Sept. 27. STRC carried a 12% annualized dividend rate, compared with 13% for SATA, underscoring the companies' separate issuer and investment risks. Strategy is also seeking shareholder approval to record dividends on STRC, STRF, STRK and STRD every calendar day, with the first proposed STRC record date on Nov. 1 and payment on Nov. 2.
