FactSet shares rose nearly 3% after the financial data provider reported better-than-expected fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter results, including revenue of $634.7 million and adjusted earnings of $4.52 per share. Organic annual subscription value, or ASV, rose 7% to about $2.56 billion, while AI-related products generated more than 10% of new ASV added during the quarter. The company forecast fiscal 2027 revenue growth of 5% to 6%, organic ASV growth of 5% to 6.5%, adjusted operating-margin expansion of 25 to 75 basis points and high-single-digit earnings-per-share growth, but its $2.60 billion to $2.625 billion revenue outlook fell short of analyst expectations. FactSet said more than 650 clients had contracts or trials to access its data through its MCP server, while productivity initiatives, workforce reductions and AI-enabled process improvements are expected to support future operating leverage. The company returned more than $800 million to shareholders in fiscal 2026, including about $644 million in repurchases and $164 million in dividends.
