MEXC added another 1,000 BTC to its Guardian Fund, marking the reserve’s second major Bitcoin allocation of 2026 and bringing its holdings to 2,000 BTC and 100 million USDT. The company committed in May to expand the fund from $100 million to $500 million over two years. MEXC said the dedicated reserve, which is separate from regular operating and trading balances, is intended to strengthen user protection as security risks facing digital-asset platforms evolve. A release distributed on September 30 was dated October 1, 2026, in Mutsamudu, Comoros. MEXC has disclosed wallet addresses allowing users to verify the holdings on-chain and said it will continue investing in security, transparency and risk-management infrastructure.
