Binance will stop accepting direct on-chain crypto deposits into Funding Accounts from Sept. 29, directing users to Spot accounts instead. Binance Pay receipts and Convert order settlements will also move to Spot, while existing Funding balances will be migrated separately. Most users will not need to move existing assets manually, but Pay users with Funding-only recurring sends must eventually create new plans when Funding is removed as a Pay source. Convert users should switch account references to Spot, including through APIs. P2P treatment will vary by user type, with a dedicated P2P Account planned for December 2026. Binance says Funding balances left after voluntary transfers will be moved automatically in batches from January 2027, and it plans to rename Funding the Stocks Account in January, with the exact date undecided. Regional availability may affect how the changes apply.
