Lion Group Holding (NASDAQ: LGHL) said on Sept. 30 that it had sold all of its SOL holdings and part of its BTC holdings on Sept. 29, using the proceeds to purchase about 38,102 HYPE. The transaction raised its Hyperliquid holdings to approximately 232,900 tokens worth about $20.10 million, while the company retained its existing HYPE position. Lion Group said its digital-asset treasury strategy was being reshaped around Hyperliquid, citing the network's fundamentals, on-chain perpetual futures trading volume and expanding product offerings. It also said broader access for U.S. institutional investors, including through a spot Hyperliquid ETF, would support the token's growth prospects. The announcement was reported by The Wall Street Journal.
